The summer is magic
It's been a while. Have been too busy lately to spend any time on the internetweb, and when i'm not working i'm either playing skate3 on the sexxxbox, drawing, trying to figure out what the hell Lost is all about, and lately, trying to make my own personal comeback in skateboarding, however, trying not to fall on my hands and being old and packing a few pounds does not make that all too easy.
Anyhoo, here are a few recent pieces.
Done on my buddy to celebrate the birth of his daughter.
Some script.
Based on a logo for a club for people with sideburns.
Some more script.
the banner says 'mom' in dutch.
Peace.

skateboarding
This inspired me to write this post, it's not about tattoos, but then again, it is....it's about being with my bros, and that's what got me into tattoos in the first place... so to you Chad, and everyone reading this interested: a tribute to Matt Hensley's most awesome video part (starting at 3:49), Please check this out.
and while you're at it; check out my biggest inspiration: the man who souled the world.....
Peace.

Some sketches
Here are a couple of sketches from the last couple of months up until now. Again, just a selection of a handful, as i have heaps more, some finished, some unfinished, and most of them partly finished. I tend to lose interest as soon as i have the linework, and sometimes, parts of the shading done, but hopefully someday, when i've succesfully learned how to bend the fabric of time to my bidding, these will all be paintings.
Did this one today, had a spare half an hour or so, and this popped into my head. Unfortunately, this will probably remain just a linedrawing for a long long time....
A recent one, and of course, not entirely finished..
Did this one a long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away...
Girl head, everybody does them, and so do i....also done sometime ago.
I like movies, especially the old ones which are so bad, they're good. They Live is one of them.
I like hands.
Nuff said.

Past tattoos, volume #5
Here's a selection of the latest work i've been doing, all images in the previous posts are just a selection of the work i've been doing in the last months, as time passes, i'll try to keep this thing up to date with all the recent stuff.
In progress japanese halfsleeve, there's a fish hiding on the other side, stay tuned for more:
Fun little thing on a leg, wasn't too happy with adding the date, but it was mandatory to the guy wearing it.
I like pentagrams, apparently; this guy does too:
Next up, a mix mash of lettering and japanese waves, lotuses and background, the script in this photo is healed, i'll post the full arm when i get more pictures of it.
Fun little maori styled thing, will be extended to the upper arm later:
Little bird; she wanted a newschool/cartoony looking cutesy bird, so i built it.
Gnarly looking eagle with script underneath and a funky glare from my camera.
that's all for now, as said; stay tuned for regular updates, maybe even some unfinished sketches.
later.

Fun little thing i did on a friend of mine, tho it looks weird as the linework is healed in these photos, which are pretty sucky cuz i'm a shitty photographer.
Skinrips are AWESOME! and again; healed lines, shitty photo.
